Owens Captivated by Reflection, Incident Almost Fatal

Wide receiver Terrell Owens, who was found naked and unconscious by a pond near his home in Atlanta, GA, remains in serious but stable condition. After becoming entranced by his reflection in the water, the troubled wide receiver spent almost a week gazing into the pond.
“Terrell is going to be just fine,” his publicist told reporters. “After his rookie season, we took all the mirrors out of his house as a precautionary measure, but it’s hard to keep someone away from their reflection forever.”
In the wake of this incident, many other receivers have reached out to Owens. “One time I saw my reflection,” said Patriot’s wide receiver Randy Moss. “I was lucky, you know, that my friends were there to forcibly remove me from the lake. It’s not easy to take your eyes off someone so beautiful, someone with so many touchdown catches in their career.”
In a brief moment of consciousness early Monday morning, Owens tried to escape from the hospital to return to the pond. Doctors believe that Owens doesn’t realize the image in the water was a reflection of himself.
Despite his prolific career, Owens remains an unrestricted free agent.
